Engineering Mechanics

The objective of the 25th conference is to provide a forum for researchers to discuss the state-of-the-art topics in all branches of mechanics, particularly in connection with problems under investigation in the Czech Republic. Problems of Engineering Mechanics can be discussed, and their solutions presented, during the sessions of the Conference, held at the Hotel of the ŽĎAS, a. s., situated in the beautiful countryside of the Žďár Highlands.

The EM2019 aims to provide a forum for researchers, industry practitioners, engineers and postgraduate scholars to promote exchange and disseminate knowledge and experiences of the most recent results and advances in a wide range of topics in Engineering Mechanics, including, but not limited to:

•  All of the posters exhibited at the Conference can be accepted into the competition for the prize of the general manager of the ŽĎAS company. The Conference Proceedings will be prepared in the same way as in successful years 2014, 2016 and 2017, when the proceedings were indexed in Web of Science (Clarivate Analytics, formerly ISI Thomson Reuters). The evaluation of the proceedings EM2018 has been finished at the end of May 2019.

Important deadlines:

• February 4, 2019 - registration and full text deadline – 4 pages paper according to requirements given in “Papers” section
  The deadline has been extended to the February 15, 2019.
• March 18, 2019 - acceptance / rejection notification.
• April 12, 2019 - conference fee payment
