Macroscopic approach to stress analysis of aortic aneurysm

In this paper we try to analyze numerically mechanical behaviour of the abdominal aneurysmatic aorta (AAA). FOT this we apply the composite model of smooth muscle which has been developed by authors and described in [1, 2j. Several geometrical parameters are considered to define various shapes of AAA. FOT these the tensions in collagen and elastin fibres are evaluated.
