The segment of spherical shell covered by an elastic plate and filled by a compliant substance represents a simplified mathematical model of a human skull including a model of brain tissue. The study offrequency-modal properties of this system was realised using Finite Element Method (FEM) within a programme package ANSYS. Obtained results for the shell in vacuum as well as for the interaction of the shell with elastic content, created by fluid elements, are analysed from the point of view the frequency spectrum and corresponding mode shapes vibration.
