Solution of the flow in the thin gap between rotating shaft and flexible coating

These problems were solved in past by Reynolds equation, which assumed a thin and a circular gap. A modification of Reynolds equation, a presumption of its derivation and a comparison between analyses and more precise solution with Fluent software for different boundary conditions are presented in the paper.
