Prediction of turbulent flow in a curved channel using various turbulence models
Příhoda J., Sedlář M.
pages 286 - +8p., full text

Turbulent flow in a curved channel of the squared cross-section was numerically simulated using the CFX-TASCflow software. Besides the standard k-el and Menter´s k- model, the RMS model proposed by Launder, Reece and Rodi (1975) was used. The detailed analysis of complex turbulent flow including the separation region was carried out with the aim to determine losses and their main causes for flows in curved channels.
