Recently, several collapses of assembled floors with large clay units took place in the Czech Republic. The failures are occurring in certain period after finishing of construction. Analysis of experimentally derived parameters shows that the principal reasons of failures consist in restrained volume changes of clay material. In laboratory conditions several experiments simulating real floor structure were realized. The reliability of floor structure was proved by ten different non-destructive methods.
