Finite element modelling of viscous incompressible fluid flow in glottis
Damašek A., Burda P.
pages 54 - +9p., full text

The paper deals with numerical computations of viscous incompressible fluid flow in glottis described by Navier-Stokes equations and discretised by the finite element method. For space discretisation the Hood-Taylor elements are used and time discretisation is done using the Euler method. Navier-Stokes equations with the non-linear term are discretised by semi-implicit integration scheme. For higher Reynolds number fluid flow Streamline Upwind Petrov-Galerkin Method SUPG which stabilizes integration scheme is used. This method uses special weight functions which modify shape functions based on the Galerkin principle.
