This article analyses some computational methods for the solution of cyclical point contact in the area of contact fatigue. The three-dimensional elastic-plastic rolling contact stress analysis was solved by Ansys 7.0 software. The Hertzian pressure distribution was assumed for the normal surface contact load. The task of solutions was the assessment of influence for the considered cyclic plasticity model. The applied method was compared with the computation using surface-surface contact elements. Results show hysteresis loops, which were used for the calculating the number of cycles to failure by the three chosen criteria of multiaxial fatigue.
