Pseudospectra represent a recent global insight into spectral and stability properties of the non-conservative dynamic systems with nonnormal coefficient matrices of the mathematical models. Unfortunately, the numerical computation of this regions in the complex plane is in general cases cumbersome and tedious. The estimation of the resolvent norm exploiting only eigenvalues and singular values of the matrix is investigated in this paper and two other approximate techniques are presented.
