The mathematical model of a vibrating mechanical system obtained by modeling in finite elements method (FEM) should be consistent with data, which follow from the experimental modal analysis (EMA). But real applications confirm that this premise is not quite fulfilled. So it is necessary to modify the FEM model so as the computed and measured modal data reciprocally correspond. A target of this paper is to design a systematic procedure for correction of the mathematical model based on the transfer function.
