In the paper some knowledge is discussed from measurements of acoustic power of a flat source in spatially straitened conditions. It is a non typical source of a noise, which can not be surrounded with a measuring area on which measurement of acoustic quantities are to be done in individual measurement points. The acoustic power is then determined from measurements on the measuring area parallel to the source, both by acoustic intensity and acoustic pressure measurements in individual points.
