In the article Mišun & Přikryl (2003) was described a new principle of vocal folds function. Principle has been preliminary called “compressed air bubbles”, in short “bubbles”. This paper focuses on this new functional model of generating loud vowels. In contrast to another authors this model uses only inertial mass and reverse forces of deformed folds. Bernoulli´s effect was not included. The space 3D finite elements model of the vocal folds has been used for verification of the compressed bubble principle. Excitation of the model is performed by subglottal pressure in relation to the glottis. Mathematical description of the loop of the subglottal pressure is state too, because it is for modelling fundamental.
