In this paper we present the model of composite material with rubber matrix reinforced with two families of treads. The mechanical properties of finite element model are determined from experimental tests for the given material. The material model verification is realized by confrontation of experimental data and results obtained by using finite element method. The model is applied in a computation of deformation cylindrical air spring sleeve by finite element method using the software ANSYS. Results of the computation are compared with experimental values measured on testing parts.
