The knowledge of fracture-mechanical parameters is fundamental for failure modelling of concrete structures. Problems of the true fracture energy of this quasi-brittle material are analysed. The fracture energy of concrete, which is necessary for the true fracture energy determining, could be obtained by testing of notched-beam specimen subjected to three-point bending. The FEM model of this test is used in this paper. The influence of constraint on determination of the fracture energy of concrete is studied in this paper.
