The non-linear auto-parametric system with three degrees of freedom is investigated. System consists of a slender structure with one degree of freedom coupled with a spherical pendulum damper with two degrees of freedom. A harmonic external force is considered. A semi-trivial solution and its stability are analyzed. Special attention is paid to the resonance domain. The semi-trivial solution can lose its stability and various post-critical regimes occur. Three different types of the resonance domain are investigated. Their main properties depend significantly on dynamic parameters of the system and of the external excitation amplitude. Practical recommendations are focused to keep stability of the semi-trivial state. ´
