Damage cumulation functions of concrete
J. Jerga, M. Križma
pages 537 - 546, full text

The reliability of concrete structure is immediately connected with the damage development in the material. The expression of the ascending and descending branches of the stress-strain diagram with the damage cumulation function offers an insight into the progress of damage. It is favourable to approximate the damage cumulation function with the probability distribution functions. The Weibull, gamma and log-normal distributions seem to be convenient. While in the graphical form the damage density is very illustrative, in the numerical form the characteristics of the position and variability of the probabilistic distribution could be used with advantage.
