PRELIMINARY TESTING OF THE GEAR PUMP WITH INTERNAL GEARING WITH MODIFICATION OF THE SICKLE INSERT

The paper presents the requirements for hydraulic positive-displacement pumps. Modifications have been made to the sickle insert of the gear pump with internal gearing. This procedure allowed to obtain radial compensation. The preliminary test stand to plot the characteristics of the pump before and after modification was discussed. The results of measurements from the conducted tests are presented.
